god’s favorite thing is to bring good out of bad

Today I celebrate the life of a counselor here in Lake Jackson, Buddy Scott passed away recently. Buddy was a minister, a Christian counselor, and a columnist at The Facts. He lived a full life helping others. You can find his obituary and an article about his amazing life in the Facts this morning. Buddy helped me during a very difficult season in life. This is a piece of paper he wrote and gave to me after a counseling session. I have kept this taped to my bathroom mirror for years and plan to keep it there for many more. Thank you, Buddy, for caring for so many souls here in Brazoria County: young, old, rich, poor…you cared and uplifted us all. You pointed us to God and reminded us that God’s favorite thing is to bring good out of bad, thank you. May you rest in peace, Buddy.
